Homesteading Crafts and Skills

How-To Booklets

Our how-to booklets provide basic instruction in a variety of homesteading crafts and skills. You'll find these step-by-step, illustrated instructions clear and easy to follow.

Patterns include illustrated instructions for the completion of the projects described. All patterns include a list of recommended materials, supplies and tools.

Our kits have been designed to help you learn the basics of homesteading crafts and skills in your own home. Many are written to help parents teach their children.

The main focus of our curriculum kits is to teach a foundational level of skill. As such, these kits start at a beginning level. As you work through the progression of projects in the kit, you'll find your skills being developed and honed. Project kits on more advanced levels offer opportunities to develop new skills and to practice what you have already learned.

All kits include step-by-step instructions as well as the patterns and materials needed to complete the projects outlined.
